1890 Victorian Natural Sapphire Diamond Ring, 18k Gold
This beautiful Victorian ring has quite a presence with its captivating colour of sapphires. The royal blue colour and the diamonds give a regal mood. The shape and the placement of the stones are rather unusual and I love the shape of the band. It’s very comfortable to wear and great to be worn as a solo ring or stacking.
Material: 18k yellow gold
Stones: 2 sapphires and 4 diamonds
All measurements are approximate:
Size: 5.25 US
Gross Weight: 3.6g
Hallmarks: Crown, 18, Anchor, P (indicating year 1890)
Condition: Good. The stones are secure. The sapphires has minor abrasion under the loupe and hairline scratches on the band. It can be polished, but I’d like to leave the patina as traces of its history.
